What you will do

• Lead the modernization of clinical software platforms using .NET, Java, AWS, and Oracle.
• Define and execute technical strategy to improve platform scalability, reliability, and delivery speed.
• Oversee engineering teams responsible for software development, architecture, and DevOps transformation.
• Establish platform reliability and observability practices through effective monitoring and performance tracking.
• Partner with Product Management and business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with clinical research priorities.
• Mentor engineering leaders and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with significant leadership in enterprise technology initiatives.
• Proven experience managing large-scale engineering organizations, including distributed teams and contractors.
• Strong technical background in Java, .NET/C#, Oracle, and modern software architectures.
• Experience leading platform modernization, DevOps transformation, and software delivery improvements.
• Experience working in regulated environments such as medical device software or healthcare technology.
