What you will do

• Manage a team of senior engineers using a distributed leadership model to support technical execution and career growth.
• Translate company goals into a clear AI platform roadmap, balancing structured delivery with urgent product requests.
• Coordinate cross-pod dependencies and track milestones to ensure timely delivery of AI features.
• Provide technical stewardship through architectural reviews and hands-on guidance (~20% of time).
• Act as the primary contact for Product, Analytics, and Engineering stakeholders and external AI partners.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing engineering teams in fast-paced product environments.
• Hands-on depth in AI/ML infrastructure, MLOps, or model serving in production.
• Technical capacity to guide architectural trade-offs without being a full-time individual contributor.
• Experience operating in agile environments with shifting priorities and complex stakeholder management.
• Must be based in or able to work from London for 3 days per week.
