TL;DR

Business Development Representative (SaaS): Generating outbound opportunities and qualifying leads for Shopify and e-commerce brands with an accent on high-volume cold calling and personalized outreach. Focus on building a robust sales pipeline and converting prospective merchants into qualified meetings for Account Executives.

Location: Based in or willing to relocate to New York City

Salary: $60,000 base + $40,000 commission (OTE: $100,000)

hirify.global is a global marketing automation leader, and Alia is its popup and engagement platform designed to help Shopify merchants grow revenue.

What you will do

  • Execute daily outbound calls and outreach sequences to Shopify merchants and e-commerce brands.
  • Qualify inbound leads and book meetings for the Account Executive team.
  • Research target accounts to create highly personalized outreach.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to test and optimize messaging.
  • Maintain clean and accurate CRM data to ensure trustworthy pipeline reporting.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles (new graduates are welcome).
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to New York City.
  • Comfort and willingness to handle a high volume of outbound calls daily.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to think on your feet.
  • Resilience in the face of rejection and a coachable mindset.
