What you will do

• Deliver hands-on instruction in lathe machining, including setup, tooling, blueprint interpretation, and inspection.
• Coach and mentor students on machining safety and industry best practices.
• Conduct skills gap analyses to identify training needs for employees and apprentices.
• Design and develop technical training courses ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
• Assess training effectiveness through performance metrics and implement continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align training initiatives with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in East Aurora, NY.
• At least 7 years of lathe machining experience, including CNC and manual machines.
• Demonstrated experience delivering technical training and mentoring in a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of machine setup, tooling, blueprint reading, and inspection methods.
• Ability to coordinate and deliver hands-on workshops, seminars, and online courses.
• Must be a U.S. person to access export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in IT tools such as Teamcenter and MBS.
• Experience training in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments.
