What you will do

• Develop and own the compliance framework for UAE entities regulated by DFSA/FSRA and CBUAE.
• Act as the primary compliance contact for regulators, including the Dubai Financial Services Authority and the Central Bank of the UAE.
• Manage daily AML operations, including enhanced due diligence (EDD) approvals and name screening escalations.
• Develop and maintain AML and compliance programs covering market abuse, conflicts of interest, and investor protection.
• Provide expert compliance advice to Commercial and Operations teams regarding payments and investment products.
• Design and execute reports to measure the performance of compliance initiatives and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).

Requirements

• 6-8 years of financial crime and investment compliance experience in CBUAE-regulated financial institutions.
• Current resident of the UAE is mandatory.
• Deep expertise in UAE AML/CTF laws, DIFC/ADGM Rulebooks, and local financial services regulations.
• English: Fluent written and verbal proficiency required.
• Proven ability to handle challenging priorities and stakeholders under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as an MLRO or Deputy MLRO.
• Strong understanding of the payments industry.
• Professional proficiency in Arabic.
