Fraud Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Analyze dispute, identity theft, and fraud claims to determine appropriate resolutions.
• Monitor fraud software (Verafin) and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR).
• Investigate Identity Theft Red Flag reports and document all findings.
• Coordinate with governmental agencies and law enforcement to process fraud case files.
• Communicate with affected members, providing guidance and support throughout the resolution process.
• Collaborate with internal departments and other financial institutions to resolve suspicious activity.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA (as per regulatory and benefit requirements).
• 1+ years of related experience in fraud prevention or banking.
• Solid understanding of Fraud, Reg E, BSA/AML, and USA Patriot Act regulations.
• Frontline banking experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for document creation and data retrieval.
• Ability to obtain the CBSAP certification within the first year of employment.
