Location: Must be based in Plano, Texas or Atlanta, Georgia. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office per week, with availability for Saturday and holiday shifts.

What you will do

  • Conduct end-to-end investigations into complex, high-impact risk cases including fraud and compliance threats.
  • Make autonomous final decisions on sensitive accounts such as fund holds and account closures.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure policy adherence and provide constructive feedback to the team.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and standard operating procedures for risk operations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to identify systemic issues and advocate for process improvements.
  • Act as the final point of escalation for complex customer conflicts via phone and email.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in risk operations within fintech, banking, or e-commerce.
  • Expert knowledge of IDV, KYC/KYB, transaction fraud, and chargeback disputes.
  • Proven ability to make autonomous, high-impact risk decisions under tight deadlines.
  • Must be available to work 11:00-8:00 PM or 12:00-9:00 PM CST shifts.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in case management systems like Salesforce.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.
