What you will do

• Lead NPI efforts from concept through production ramp, including EVT, DVT, PVT, and LRIP phases.
• Drive DFM/DFA/DFT reviews with design engineering to ensure scalable and cost-effective product designs.
• Develop, validate, and implement manufacturing and test processes for new UAV systems.
• Design and procure jigs, fixtures, tooling, and automation solutions to improve production efficiency.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, PFMEAs, and control plans.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S, value stream mapping, and Kaizen events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–12+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering with a strong focus on NPI.
• Deep expertise in NPI processes and manufacturing methods (composites, machining, assembly).
• Advanced proficiency in DFM/DFA/DFT methodologies and CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of process validation, PFMEA, and SPC.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence is mandatory (ITAR/EAR compliance).

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• Experience with Industry 4.0 implementation and advanced automation.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001, MIL-STD, and FAA guidance.
