What you will do

• Manage the introduction of new products from design to production, including the creation of processes and technical documentation.
• Design and validate production-level assembly and test processes, including equipment selection and validation.
• Analyze product designs for manufacturability (DFM) and implement continuous improvement initiatives post-release.
• Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource plans for cost-effective product launches.
• Collaborate with Design and Process Engineering to ensure product specifications are achievable within manufacturing constraints.
• Train engineers and technicians to replicate new product test setups and production processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical degree.
• 4 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• 2 years of experience reading and understanding technical drawings, documents, and user manuals.
• 2 years of experience developing and executing detailed test plans.
• 2 years of experience with circuit design and electrical/optical test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, BERTs).
• Must be authorized to access U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Advanced technical degree.
• Experience with electro-optical systems and troubleshooting circuits.
• Experience with high-speed communication systems and protocols (e.g., IEEE 802.xx, High-Speed Ethernet).
• Basic knowledge of programming languages and embedded code.
• Working knowledge of microprocessors and electromechanical systems.
