Service Technician (Chemical Process Analyst)

What you will do

• Monitor and maintain chemical stock levels for cooling, boiler, and wastewater treatment systems, including ordering chemicals and coordinating empty drum disposal.
• Conduct routine sampling and testing of cooling and boiler water systems, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Record test results and system data accurately in DrewTrax or other designated record-keeping systems.
• Inspect, maintain, clean, and troubleshoot chemical dosing and monitoring equipment.
• Collect and dispatch biological samples; perform cooling tower cleaning or supervise cleaning activities as required.
• Install and retrieve corrosion coupons; identify and report leaks, equipment faults, and abnormal conditions; recalibrate/reprogram and perform manual chemical dosing when needed.

Requirements

• Demonstrate safe work practices and the ability to identify hazards.
• Experience with boilers and/or cooling towers.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Good verbal communication skills to liaise with customers and site maintenance teams.
• Ability to travel and hold a current drivers’ licence.
• Trade certificate or degree in Chemistry/Science is highly regarded.
