TL;DR
Business Development Representative (SaaS): Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities for a venue booking platform with an accent on inbound and outbound prospecting. Focus on driving sales growth for SMB venues and scaling space monetization strategies.
Location: Hybrid: Must be based in Boston, MA (2x a week onsite)

(part of Skedda) provides flexible and intuitive booking software for SMB venues, including sports facilities, coworking spaces, and community centers.
What you will do
- Generate qualified opportunities through proactive inbound and outbound prospecting.
- Execute 100+ daily activities across calls, emails, and social touchpoints.
- Engage prospective customers across various sports facilities, creative studios, and coworking spaces.
- Develop deep expertise in venue management, member management, and space monetization solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to provide field insights and improve the sales approach.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in a high-volume Business Development position.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing both inbound and outbound leads.
- Strong technical skills with SaaS workflow experience and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Must be located in or able to work onsite in Boston, MA (Hybrid).
Nice to have
- Prior experience working for a tech startup.
- Experience working with SMBs and Annual Contract Values (ACVs) below $1k per month.
- Knowledge of the public venue space (athletics, creative studios, coworking).
