Focus on analyzing trade regulations, supporting customs compliance, and collaborating with Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, Project Management, and Quality.

What you will do

  • Classify products accurately for import and export activities.
  • Support trade compliance across a complex global manufacturing and engineering environment.
  • Apply HTS, HS, Schedule B, and ECCN classification frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, Project Management, and Quality.
  • Support customs compliance, classification strategies, and related business initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in trade compliance, customs compliance, product classification, or a related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of import and export regulations, Incoterms, and free trade agreements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SAP Global Trade Services or similar trade compliance systems.
  • Customs or trade compliance certifications.
  • Experience with U.S. Customs ACE data, customs audits, or broker management.
  • Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or project-based business experience.
  • Experience with Power BI, Access, or other data visualization and reporting tools.
