Salary: $140,000 – $190,000

What you will do
- Lead resolution of the most technically complex customer incidents and escalations across cloud infrastructure and platform capabilities.
- Serve as the primary technical escalation point, triaging critical issues and guiding other operations engineers through troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain technical runbooks, support playbooks, and automation to improve resolution speed and consistency.
- Partner with Platform Engineering and Product teams to identify root causes of recurring operational issues and improve platform reliability.
- Mentor Enterprise Customer Operations Engineers through technical coaching and case reviews.
- Navigate government change control processes and classification-level constraints on behalf of customers.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance.
- Must reside in approved hiring hubs: DC/MD/VA, NC (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill), CO (Denver/Colorado Springs), or TX (Dallas/Fort Worth).
- 5–8+ years of experience in technical support engineering, DevSecOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Helm, containerization, and secure cloud-native application architectures.
- Strong proficiency with major cloud providers (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or GCP) in enterprise or government environments.
Nice to have
- Experience in fast-paced defense technology startups.
- Direct experience supporting DoD, IC, or federal civilian customers in a SaaS/PaaS context.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and government ATO processes.
- Experience with observability platforms like Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Mimir.
- Contributions to internal tooling and automation that reduce operational toil.
