Platform DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud-native platforms for mission-critical applications with an accent on DevSecOps best practices and infrastructure modernization. Location: Hybrid in Arlington, VA. Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required.

Salary: $240,000 - $280,000 a year

What you will do

• Act as the technical authority for DevOps and DevSecOps architecture across multiple projects.
• Lead the design and continuous improvement of secure, scalable cloud-native platforms.
• Design and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and industry best practices.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Standardize the deployment and management of Helm charts and Kubernetes applications.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, and platform engineering.
• 5+ years of experience deploying cloud-native solutions in AWS.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Kustomize, and container security.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting large-scale DoD cloud modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures.
• Experience with Keycloak, Redis, MongoDB, or Apache Airflow.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
