What you will do

• Architect CI/CD platforms and Kubernetes infrastructure (including secure, scalable EKS patterns) with multi-tenancy and compliance requirements.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK; build automation frameworks and configuration management.
• Design CI/CD pipeline architecture (Jenkins/GitLab CI/GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline) with GitOps and progressive delivery.
• Implement observability and SRE practices (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/EFK, APM with Datadog/New Relic, SLIs/SLOs, incident response).
• Lead DevSecOps integration: security scanning (SAST/DAST/IaC/container), compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, FedRAMP), and secret/IAM strategies.
• Provide DevOps mentorship to client engineering teams, run transformation workshops, and produce comprehensive documentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of continual DevOps architecture experience.
• 7+ years architecting and building AWS infrastructure; AWS experience within the past year across core services (compute, storage, networking, RDS).
• 7+ years DevOps toolchain experience (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, AWS Code* Suite).
• Strong AWS cloud security practices knowledge and experience implementing enterprise, highly available, fault-tolerant deployments.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Ability to work EST with flexibility for different time zones.

Nice to have

• Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and compliance framework expertise (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2).
• FinOps practices and cost optimization experience.
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
• AWS CDK, database migration, and modernization experience.
• AWS and Kubernetes certifications (e.g., SysOps Admin, Security Specialty, DevOps Engineer Pro, CKA/CKAD, Terraform Associate).
