What you will do

• Architect production-grade multi-agent frameworks and complex orchestration layers from the ground up.
• Integrate and optimize various commercial and open-source LLMs for specific agentic behaviors.
• Implement rigorous frameworks for benchmarking, prompt engineering, and evaluating agent reliability, latency, and accuracy.
• Establish engineering standards for code quality and system performance while mentoring other engineers.
• Balance rapid prototyping of MVPs with the creation of rock-solid architectural foundations for future scale.
• Lead the adoption of advanced AI coding tools to maximize engineering velocity across the team.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping complex systems from scratch.
• 2+ years of hands-on production experience specifically building autonomous workflows and agentic systems.
• Deep familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Proficiency in Python or Go and a solid grasp of distributed backend systems.
• Prior early-stage startup experience and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience building developer-facing products, SDKs, or open-source libraries.
• Prior contributions to open-source AI or agent frameworks.
• Experience with vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) at scale.
