Focus on architecting and evaluating the effectiveness and accuracy of agents and delivering mission-critical capabilities.

Location: Hybrid in Vancouver, BC, Canada (requires at least 50% in-office time per quarter)

Salary: $140,000 - $210,000 CAD

What you will do

• Spearhead engineering efforts to build agentic capabilities on the hirify.global Data Cloud platform.
• Develop a robust semantic layer and MCP server framework for internal and external agents.
• Deliver mission-critical capabilities meeting rigorous functional and quality requirements.
• Architect and evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of AI agents.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead team collaboration within the software development team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software development engineering and scaling robust systems.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering ML or Agent systems from experimentation to monitoring.
• Expertise in Machine Learning, Data Science, and Agent frameworks/design patterns.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Scala, Python, PyTorch, and LangChain.
• Experience designing and building MCP servers.
• Strong skills in algorithmic thinking and Object-Oriented Design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
