What you will do

• Develop and execute government affairs strategies aligned with corporate and business priorities across the DACH region.
• Build and maintain high-level relationships with federal and regional government officials, ministries, and regulatory authorities.
• Represent the company in key industry associations and lead participation in working groups and public consultations.
• Monitor legislative developments and provide strategic policy analysis to senior management regarding risks and opportunities.
• Develop advocacy positions, policy papers, and consultation responses.
• Coordinate internal alignment across functions to ensure consistent external messaging.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Economics, or International Relations preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in Government Affairs, Public Affairs, or Public Policy.
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Strong knowledge of German federal institutions, legislative processes, and the regulatory environment.
• Established network across German ministries, Bundestag, and industry associations.
• Must be based in Berlin, Germany.
