What you will do

• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure alerts using HP OMi across RHEL, Rocky Linux, and Windows servers.
• Manage server operations, including hardware maintenance, BIOS updates, and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Perform server patching and health checks to ensure compliance and system availability.
• Automate operational tasks using Python and Git to drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve incidents through ticketing systems.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles in Confluence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise server infrastructure and production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and basic Windows server administration (iDRAC, iLO).
• Proficiency in Python, with basic Ansible, Shell scripting, or PowerShell knowledge.
• Experience with API calls and utilizing data for operational insights.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• RHCSA, MCSE, or similar technical certifications.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with Splunk, Terraform, Tanium, Ansible Automation Platform, or Foreman.
• Knowledge of financial services or trading systems.
