What you will do

• Lead the management of a portfolio of Financial Sponsor relationships, analyzing market, sector, and idiosyncratic risks.
• Drive the development of sector strategy, risk appetite, mandates, and portfolio management policies.
• Collaborate with Coverage, Product, and Risk functions as a recognized subject matter expert on Financial Sponsors risk.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for data quality, controls, and credit processes to ensure robust governance.
• Exercise significant delegated credit authority to approve complex transactions, lending, trading limits, and internal ratings.

Requirements

• Significant experience in Fund Finance and/or Financial Sponsors credit risk management within 1LOD and/or 2LOD environments.
• Expertise in credit underwriting, transaction structuring, and portfolio management.
• Deep understanding of lending products, derivative products, and associated legal frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders while balancing commercial objectives and risk discipline.

• Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, or FRM.
