Corporate Action & Lending Support Specialist

What you will do

• Support the end-to-end lifecycle of mandatory and voluntary corporate actions, including notifications, re-notifications, and election responses.
• Oversee outsourced providers against service standards for accuracy, timeliness, and client service quality.
• Coordinate corporate action events involving loaned securities, including announcement monitoring, impact assessment, entitlement management, and stakeholder elections.
• Perform reconciliations, validate entitlement calculations, and drive timely settlement while minimising operational and counterparty risk.
• Monitor KPIs and KRIs, identify issues, escalate risks, and review operational controls for regulatory compliance.
• Improve service delivery, automation, governance, and control effectiveness while engaging internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive expertise in corporate actions across multiple asset classes and the full processing lifecycle.
• Strong asset management industry experience and knowledge of corporate actions processing, risk, and market best practices.
• Robust understanding of securities lending and REPO transactions and their impact on corporate events.
• Experience managing outsourced service delivery and third-party relationships.
• Knowledge of operational risk management, control frameworks, regulatory requirements, and issue resolution.
• Strong organisation, prioritisation, problem-solving, independent decision-making, and stakeholder communication skills.
