Deferred Compensation Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the full lifecycle of deferred compensation plans from design to delivery.
• Provide expert advisory to stakeholders on award mechanics, tax implications, and policy interpretation.
• Prepare governance documentation and submissions for the Executive Board and Board of Directors.
• Ensure strict compliance with international tax regulations and support audit readiness.
• Drive process innovation and digitalization using tools like Workday and EquatePlus.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Mobility, Payroll, Legal, and Finance teams.

Requirements

• Higher education qualification in business, finance, or law.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in equity or deferred compensation design and administration.
• Fluency in both English and German is required.
• Strong knowledge of cash- and equity-based deferral mechanisms and IFRS2.
• Proficiency in HR Information Systems (Workday) and equity tracking software (EquatePlus).
• Advanced Excel modeling skills and a strong control mindset.
