Technical Product Owner - Core Services (Cloud): Building foundational cloud platform capabilities including identity and access management, authentication and authorization, tenant services, shared APIs, and platform integrations with an accent on distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, reliability, and safe defaults. Focus on translating platform strategy into thin-sliced backlogs, validating customer needs, measuring outcomes, and driving frequent high-quality releases.
Location: Remote in the East Coast US, UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden, or Israel

What you will do
- Translate platform strategy into a prioritized backlog of problems, user stories, acceptance criteria, and incrementally shippable scope.
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint readiness, scope negotiation, and continuous delivery for Core Services.
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to validate ideas, identify workflow friction, and shape beta or design-partner initiatives.
- Work closely with engineering leads, architects, security, product teams, and platform consumers on sequencing, technical trade-offs, and delivery planning.
- Define success metrics, instrument releases, and use customer feedback and operational signals to guide prioritization.
- Ensure requirements address IAM boundaries, auditability, guardrails, safe defaults, reliability, documentation, and release readiness.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, SRE, Cloud Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar professional working with public cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure and strong knowledge of cloud fundamentals, including cost and billing, identity and IAM, networking, compute, Kubernetes, observability, and automation.
- Ability to reason about complex distributed systems, architectural trade-offs, platform evolution, feasibility, and system behavior.
- Strong product sense and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance customer needs, engineering constraints, and platform investments.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts, facilitating alignment, and engaging with customers and technical experts.
- Coding experience is advantageous for effective collaboration with engineers.
