Technical Product Owner (Cloud)

What you will do

• Translate product strategy into a sequenced backlog of problems, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the Engineering team.
• Own the end-to-end loop of discovery, definition, building, release, and measurement for Core Services.
• Collaborate with engineering leads and architects on technical tradeoffs and delivery planning to ensure product intent is maintained.
• Conduct regular customer calls (3-5 per week) to validate assumptions and identify friction in cloud operator workflows.
• Define and instrument success metrics such as adoption, activation, and reliability signals.
• Ensure product requirements account for real-world cloud environment constraints, including IAM boundaries and auditability.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, SRE, or Solutions Architect.
• Deep technical fluency in public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Strong expertise in cloud fundamentals: IAM, networking, compute, observability, and cost/billing concepts.
• Proven ability to turn complex technical problems into clear, shippable product scope without waiting for perfect information.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Must be based remotely in the East Coast US, UK, Ireland, Estonia, Netherlands, Sweden, or Israel.

Nice to have

• Hands-on coding experience sufficient to reason about system behaviors and collaborate effectively with engineers.
