What you will do

• Build and ship customer-facing AI features, including LLM workflows, retrieval systems, embeddings, and agentic capabilities.
• Own the full product development lifecycle from problem discovery and solution design to deployment and monitoring.
• Develop high-quality user interfaces using React and TypeScript while contributing to backend systems.
• Implement reliability frameworks, including evaluations, guardrails, and quality measurement for AI features.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define solutions and deliver measurable customer outcomes.
• Contribute to the engineering culture by participating in hiring and improving team productivity tools.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a full-stack engineer with a heavy focus on frontend development.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Proven track record of building production-ready AI features (LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering).
• Deep understanding of AI reliability, including verification methods and monitoring.
• Experience with AI coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code in a professional workflow.
• Must be based in the United States with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience optimizing AI systems for performance, cost, safety, or scalability.
• Familiarity with AI observability and tracing tools.
• Background in developing productivity tools, developer tools, or enterprise applications.
