TL;DR

Software Engineer (AI): Developing and integrating generative AI features and agentic solutions into legal technology products with an accent on leveraging coding agents and frontier language models. Focus on designing robust features, evangelizing AI adoption across the engineering department, and optimizing internal processes using modern AI development tools.

Location: Hybrid role based in Denver, CO; must be in office at least 3 days a week.

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead teams of virtual developers using AI coding agents like Devin to design and develop GenAI features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product ideas into technical designs and development tasks.
• Research, evaluate, and document new AI technologies and development agent tools.
• Act as a GenAI evangelist, conducting webinars and sessions to disseminate knowledge across the Engineering department.
• Write clean, maintainable, and extensible code following security best practices.
• Manage individual task priorities, estimates, and deadlines to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Denver, CO (hybrid).
• 2+ years of experience with .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and Web/REST APIs.
• 2+ years of experience with React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte and TypeScript.
• 1+ year of experience with SQL Azure or SQL Server/PostgreSQL and unit testing frameworks.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to peers, directors, and leadership.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, RAG, and vectorization.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Windsurf.
