TL;DR
AI Product Engineer (Ruby/JS): Building an AI-powered internal communications product and subsequent 0→1 bets within a product incubation team with an accent on rapid prototyping and fullstack delivery. Focus on taking product ideas from zero to production, integrating LLMs, and designing scalable AI-driven workflows.
Location: Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid - 4 days/week in-office). Relocation and visa sponsorship supported from anywhere.
Salary: €7,000–€12,000 per month gross

What you will do
- Build and launch AI-powered products from zero to production independently.
- Develop an internal communications tool to replace ad hoc WhatsApp usage with an AI layer for employee/manager queries.
- Execute subsequent 0→1 product bets after the first mission is live.
- Handle full-cycle development including backend, frontend, product design, and go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate directly with the VP of Engineering to iterate on product ideas.
Requirements
- Staff-level hands-on engineering experience.
- T-shaped skills across backend, frontend, product, and design.
- Proven track record as a founder, ex-founder, or founding engineer in early-stage or hyper-growth startups.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and modern JavaScript.
- English proficiency is required.
- Visible public technical footprint such as GitHub, open source, Product Hunt, or technical writing.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI and production LLMs.
- Specialization in deep AI/agentic systems (infra/agent-harness).
