What you will do

  • Manage end-to-end release cadences for both OSS and Managed Cloud offerings.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product, QA, DevOps, and customer success.
  • Define and enforce Go/No-Go quality gates for every release.
  • Design dashboards and runbooks to automate release workflows and reduce manual effort.
  • Identify and mitigate dependency conflicts and breaking changes before production.
  • Facilitate release retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical program or release management.
  • Must be based in the US.
  • Proven track record of managing complex software releases in startup environments.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC, CI/CD practices, and DevOps principles.
  • Strong technical background with ability to understand architecture and technical trade-offs.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Jira or Linear.

Nice to have

  • Experience with data platforms, metadata management, or data catalogs.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native deployment models.
  • Involvement in open-source communities and OSS governance.
  • Knowledge of SaaS operations and staged rollout strategies.
