TL;DR

Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A): Building data-driven FP&A analysis to hold senior business leaders accountable to budget targets with an accent on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Focus on solving complex variance and scorecard reporting challenges through advanced Excel modeling and accurate month-end management reporting.

Location: 3 days a week in office (Ontario)

Salary: $90,000–105,000 CAD (total compensation range for candidates hired to perform work within Ontario)

What you will do

  • Establish business partnerships across the organization and support senior leaders with financial guidance.
  • Prepare and streamline budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
  • Perform deep monthly and quarterly analysis, including variance and scorecard reporting against budget/forecast.
  • Deliver accurate and timely month-end variance and management reporting.
  • Develop new analyses and improve reports/metrics to strengthen decision-making.
  • Support ad hoc projects and special requests from the executive team.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of progressive financial analysis experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel and experience with financial modeling.
  • Proven track record in a business partner or corporate FP&A role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and highly detail-oriented skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Pigment planning tool.
  • Knowledge/experience working in a customer support organization.
