Manager, Cyber Security

Location: Remote within the United States. U.S. citizenship is required, and access from foreign locations or IP addresses is restricted.

Salary: $158,819–$269,993 per year

What you will do

• Lead cybersecurity governance and Risk Management Framework coordination across a complex federal technology services environment.
• Develop and maintain FIPS 199 analyses, e-authentication risk assessments, security plans, control implementation statements, and supporting evidence.
• Evaluate cybersecurity risks for applications, integrations, cloud services, SaaS platforms, system connections, and platform changes.
• Track security deficiencies, remediation activities, and Plans of Action and Milestones through closure.
• Coordinate contingency planning, vulnerability management, incident response, compliance reporting, and security data calls.
• Integrate cybersecurity requirements into architecture, engineering, product delivery, DevSecOps, cloud, data, and service operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• U.S. citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, security governance, risk management, compliance, or RMF activities in federal or regulated environments.
• Active CISSP, CISM, CAP, Security+, GSEC, or equivalent cybersecurity certification.
• Experience coordinating with technical teams, assessors, program leadership, clients, and federal cybersecurity stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with FISMA, NIST 800-53, RMF, POA&M management, system assessment, authorization activities, and ATO packages.
• Experience with Zero Trust, identity and access management, endpoint security, secure cloud architecture, SaaS governance, TIC 3.0, or continuous monitoring.
• Experience integrating security into Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, product delivery, and application modernization workflows.
• Experience supporting health-focused federal environments such as HHS, NIH, FDA, CMS, or CDC.
• Additional cybersecurity, cloud security, Agile, ITIL, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or project management certification.
