What you will do
- Lead cybersecurity governance and RMF coordination within a complex federal technology environment.
- Develop and maintain critical assessment documentation including FIPS 199 analyses and security control implementation statements.
- Evaluate cybersecurity risks for new capabilities, integrations, and cloud platform changes.
- Track system security deficiencies and remediation activities through POA&M management.
- Coordinate cybersecurity inputs across engineering, DevSecOps, and product delivery teams.
- Translate complex cybersecurity requirements into practical guidance for technical teams and client stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance.
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or risk management in federal environments.
- Active certification such as CISSP, CISM, CAP, Security+, or GSEC.
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience with NIST 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP, and TIC 3.0 frameworks.
- Background in health-focused federal environments like HHS, NIH, or CMS.
- Experience integrating security into Agile and DevSecOps workflows.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and identity management.
