Information Security Risk Specialist (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote from the United States, with possible in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility

Salary: $62,000–$141,000 annualized USD

What you will do

• Discover and assess cyber risks across technical and personnel environments.
• Develop mitigation plans, action milestones, presentations, and white papers for clients.
• Support DoD RMF accreditation efforts for cloud environments in AWS or Azure.
• Implement technical requirements based on STIG checklists and NIST SP 800 series guidance.
• Develop technical documentation and artifacts supporting an ATO body of evidence.
• Architect, implement, integrate, and manage COTS solutions for cloud environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with DoD RMF accreditation for AWS or Azure cloud environments
• 5+ years of experience implementing STIG and NIST SP 800 requirements
• 5+ years of experience developing ATO documentation and evidence artifacts
• Knowledge of eMASS or XACTA, Splunk, Nessus, and Trellix ESS.
• Windows or Linux systems administration experience, including troubleshooting, installation, configuration, monitoring, and security upgrades.
• Secret clearance, a bachelor's degree, and a DoD 8140 IAM certification such as Security+ or CISSP are required.

Nice to have

• Programming, debugging, shell scripting, application containerization, and data storage experience.
• Scripting and API knowledge for automation, troubleshooting, and data integration.
• Top Secret clearance.
• DoD ESS 201/301, ACAS, CGRC, AWS CCP, or AWS Security certifications.
