Salary: $144,381.00–$245,448.00 (USD)

What you will do

• Lead enterprise architecture, platform integration, product engineering, and application modernization for a complex federal technology program.
• Define and govern architecture standards, reference patterns, integration approaches, and governance guardrails for SaaS, cloud, and platform capabilities.
• Guide solution design across cloud providers and SaaS ecosystems, including secure access patterns and API/workflow integration.
• Lead architectural design reviews and technical decision forums to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, supportable, and aligned with modernization objectives.
• Govern integration patterns and automation using APIs, SDKs, webhooks, event streams, serverless functions, workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with cybersecurity and data teams to incorporate Zero Trust, compliance, logging/monitoring, encryption, and governed data access into solution delivery.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 15+ years of experience leading enterprise architecture, systems integration, platform engineering, application modernization, or product engineering in complex enterprise environments.
• Active cloud/enterprise architecture/security/IT service management certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, TOGAF, CISSP, Security+, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent).
• Experience leading architecture reviews and technical governance boards/engineering standards development.
• Experience with secure integrations, automation, and delivery governance in regulated environments.

Nice to have

• 8+ years designing and governing cloud/SaaS/PaaS/enterprise platform solutions across multi-team delivery environments.
• 5+ years supporting federal technology programs or regulated enterprise environments with formal security/compliance/authorization requirements.
• Experience with Zero Trust architecture and FedRAMP/NIST 800-53/CIS/FISMA-aligned environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, ALM, governance).
• Experience supporting HHS, NIH, FDA, CMS, or CDC environments.
