TL;DR
Principal Salesforce Engineer (Salesforce/AWS): Driving the design, implementation, and operational excellence of a large-scale, multi-product Salesforce ecosystem for federal agencies with an accent on cross-platform system design and program-level technical leadership. Focus on integrating Salesforce with AWS and MuleSoft, enforcing engineering standards, and ensuring compliance with government technical requirements.
Location: Fully Remote (USA). Must be able to pass U.S. Federal Government public trust clearance and operate within the Eastern time zone (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET).
Salary: $170,500 - $185,600

What you will do
- Lead the design and evolution of the platform architecture across Salesforce, AWS, and integrated systems.
- Define and enforce engineering standards, design patterns, and integration strategies across all product teams.
- Design and validate complex solutions utilizing Apex services, LWC, Salesforce Flows, and asynchronous processing patterns.
- Lead integration design between Salesforce and AWS services (S3, Lambda), Middleware platforms (MuleSoft), and external systems.
- Drive improvements in DevSecOps practices, specifically CI/CD pipelines via Copado and automated testing.
- Act as a technical liaison between government stakeholders, product management, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship or ability to pass public trust clearance (must have lived in the US for at least 3 of the previous 5 years).
- 10+ years of experience in IT architecture and design, including 8+ years architecting complex Salesforce solutions.
- Strong hands-on development experience with LWC, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Visualforce, and SOQL.
- Experience working with Copado CI/CD pipelines and following Copado best practices.
- Experience working within Agile and SAFe team environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Nice to have
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Salesforce Certified Application Architect credentials.
- Copado Fundamentals I and II certifications.
- Experience with Copado Robotic Process Automation.
- Expertise in multi-cloud architectures and AWS cloud development.
