What you will do

• Own the architecture and implementation of engineering-quality initiatives including workflow, mutation, and end-to-end testing.
• Drive technical direction for cross-cutting systems and document architectural trade-offs.
• Partner with the SVP of Engineering to shape the long-term technical strategy of the platform.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise the technical ceiling of the organization through design reviews and guidance.
• Identify and mitigate systemic technical risks before they impact the platform.
• Set standards for responsible AI usage in development, ensuring output validation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building production software with a track record at the staff or principal level.
• Deep expertise in testing strategy and engineering-quality infrastructure, including CI/CD rigor.
• Strong background in architecture and API design with the ability to defend technical trade-offs.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction through judgment and trust rather than direct authority.
• Experience in SaaS or platform development is highly preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA and reside within the country.
