What you will do

• Coordinate with customs brokers to support timely and accurate shipment releases.
• Ensure accurate country-of-origin determinations, HTS classifications, and customs valuations.
• Communicate with Customs, the Census Bureau, and other government agencies.
• Conduct internal self-assessments, entry process audits, post-entry audits, and post-summary corrections for U.S. customs entries.
• Develop import process documentation, procedures, and SOPs, including support for Canada imports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in trade compliance, focused on import compliance.
• Knowledge of U.S. import regulations, customs entry declarations, HTS classifications, country of origin, and import valuation.
• Experience with duty mitigation procedures, trade agreements, entry audits, post-entry audits, ACE, and CTPAT.
• Ability to document procedures, communicate with brokers and government agencies, and make independent determinations.
• Eligibility to access export-controlled information under applicable U.S. export control laws may be required; an export license review may apply.
