Design Manager (AI Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Manage the full design lifecycle from concept development through construction drawings for AI-focused data centers.
• Review design packages for code compliance, constructability, and performance to mitigate project risks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to align design with business objectives.
• Coordinate permitting processes with local authorities and consultants.
• Adapt facility designs to accommodate advanced compute clusters, high-power electrical infrastructure, and liquid cooling.
• Maintain project schedules and documentation workflows using BIM and cloud-based collaboration tools.

Requirements

• Must be based on-site in Narvik, Norway.
• Proven experience as a Design Manager in data center, mission-critical, or high-performance computing projects.
• Deep technical knowledge of MEP systems, high-density power, and infrastructure for AI compute.
• English fluency required; Norwegian proficiency is preferred.
• Proficiency with Procore, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM-based workflows.
• Ability to work in a flexible, proactive startup environment.
