Senior Hardware Engineer - Electronics (Video Conferencing Hardware)

Location: Fornebu, based at hirify.global's global headquarters in Oslo, Norway. Travel is required; flexible working is offered.

What you will do

• Lead hardware development from early concept stages through product launch.
• Coordinate development with engineers at Asian partner companies.
• Create and review product specifications, schematics, and PCB layouts.
• Test and debug embedded hardware and support electronics quality assurance.
• Collaborate with mechanical, compliance, acoustics, industrial design, software, project management, quality, and supply chain disciplines.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in schematic and layout design or review.
• Knowledge of embedded hardware and software based on advanced SoC systems.
• Experience with data, audio, video, and camera interfaces.
• Experience specifying, designing, and testing optical cameras, lenses, image sensors, environmental sensors, touch display modules, speaker modules, amplifiers, and microphones.
• Practical experience with electronics testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
