What you will do

• Underwrite complex new and renewal Marine Cargo accounts from submission through policy issuance.
• Analyze loss histories and apply actuarial concepts to ensure technically sound pricing decisions.
• Cultivate and strengthen retail and wholesale broker relationships across the U.S.
• Provide technical policy review, coverage, and rating guidance to internal partners and brokers.
• Manage a Marine Cargo pipeline to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
• Mentor junior underwriters and represent the company at industry events and client presentations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of complex retail & wholesale Marine Cargo underwriting experience.
• Must possess valid US Work Authorization; no visa sponsorship provided.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage complex cargo risks independently.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
