What you will do

• Assess and price endorsements, renewals, and new business for commercial transportation lines.
• Review new business and renewal quotes to ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines.
• Communicate company standards and requirements to brokers and agents.
• Manage relationships with assigned brokers to facilitate business growth.
• Order and review inspection reports to verify risk quality and exposure accuracy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of underwriting decisions and thought processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Transportation Underwriter in a multi-state commercial insurance environment.
• Advanced knowledge of ISO commercial class codes, CLM rules, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong technical proficiency in P&C underwriting, specifically focused on Commercial Auto.
• Proven ability to work remotely 100% of the time if not local to the Greater Cleveland area.
• Expertise in underwriting and pricing principles for complex commercial risks.
