Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote following training)
Salary: $50,000 + commission

What you will do
- Build and maintain strategic carrier profiles through research, networking, and alignment with truckload sales opportunities.
- Actively engage carrier partners primarily via phone, targeting 80+ dials per day.
- Negotiate freight rates with motor carriers to maximize profitability on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Coordinate customer freight with available carrier equipment using internal postings.
- Track and monitor shipments to proactively address transit issues and resolve payables discrepancies.
- Develop new carrier relationships to expand the network portfolio and introduce new capacity.
Requirements
- Excellent communication, networking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Flexibility to change focus quickly based on market conditions.
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Chicago, IL.
