TL;DR
Product Manager (Financial Services): Leading the financial product direction for the AXIS platform supporting AAA/CAA auto clubs with an accent on payment processing, financial workflows, and reporting. Focus on delivering client value through General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and POS enablement.
Location: Remote (Canada); preference for candidates in Kitchener-Waterloo for a hybrid model.
Salary: CAD 90,000 - 110,000 per year

What you will do
- Lead financial capabilities for the AXIS platform, defining direction for membership dues, renewals, and travel transactions.
- Partner with AAA/CAA clients to optimize billing, reconciliation, and financial reporting processes.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and product enhancements for development teams.
- Provide subject matter expertise on credit card processing, payment gateways, and POS systems.
- Ensure consistency in financial workflows and reporting across Membership, Road Service, and Travel modules.
- Support client implementations through design validation, UAT, and go-live readiness.
Requirements
- University degree, college diploma, or equivalent business-focused experience.
- Experience in software product management or business analysis for enterprise applications.
- Must be based in Canada.
- Strong understanding of payment processing ecosystems and transaction lifecycles.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, including General Ledger, AR/AP, and financial controls.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office.
