Salary: $165,000–$300,000

What you will do

• Design and implement real-time data streaming solutions and robust ETL pipelines for both real-time and batch processing.
• Create and manage large-scale data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytics.
• Develop certified datasets by integrating data from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver effective data solutions.
• Optimize data workflows, monitor pipelines, and resolve production issues in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or database management.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Java.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and star schema.
• Experience with data streaming technologies (Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Flink, Spark) and lakehouse technologies (Iceberg, Delta Lake, Trino).
• Experience with DevSecOps standards and tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
• Authorized to work in the United States (H-1B transfers, TN status, and STEM OPT candidates are considered).

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in Rail, Shipping, Logistics, Warehousing, or High-Tech industries.
• Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Knowledge of geospatial data transformation and spatial libraries.
• Proficiency in using Jupyter for collaborative data analysis.
