What you will do

• Manage capital authorization requests and project spending for engineering projects.
• Execute projects in processing, packaging, and utilities areas to improve plant operations.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the manufacturing plant and corporate teams (PMO, R&I, Quality).
• Own the trial management program, including scheduling, leadership during trials, and post-trial reporting.
• Develop technical proposals and specifications for new product launches and process improvements.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure safe and timely project completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, or related engineering science.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in engineering systems design for manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of high-speed packaging systems design and integrated automation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project.
• Must be based in Eugene, Oregon.

Nice to have

• Experience with TQM, Six Sigma, and Team Building skills.
• Knowledge of dairy process engineering and PMO, 3A standards.
• Experience developing plans within regulatory compliance (OSHA, FDA).
