Maintenance Technician (Energy)

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot engines, motors, and pneumatic tools following engineering specifications.
• Install, repair, and replace plant equipment including piping systems, valves, traps, pumps, and boilers.
• Dismantle devices to remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, and power tools.
• Ensure safe working conditions by identifying and correcting unsafe environments in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with the operations team to maintain facility cooling and heating requirements.
• Obtain the City of Tulsa Stationary Engineer license within the first year of employment.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in steam or equipment operations and maintenance.
• Knowledge of boiler and chilled water plant operations.
• Must possess a valid driver license in good standing to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to climb and tolerate heights up to 75 feet and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to lift, maneuver, and transport up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• State of Oklahoma High Pressure Boiler License.
• Universal Refrigerant Handling License.
• Experience with water chemistry.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Experience with Maximo or other work order CMS systems.
