Master Mechanic

TL;DR

Master Mechanic (Industrial Maintenance): Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and plant support systems in a chemical processing environment with an accent on preventive maintenance, mechanical systems reliability, and safe operations. Focus on diagnosing mechanical and facility issues, maintaining boilers/chillers/compressors/HVAC, and following lockout/tagout and other safety procedures.

Location: Vadnais Heights, Minnesota, USA / St. Paul, Minnesota, USA (On-Site)

Salary: $40.00 per hour (based on experience)

What you will do

• Maintain and repair industrial chemical process equipment and controls.
• Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, compressors, HVAC, and energy management systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on reactors, pumps, agitators, piping, motors, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair production and facility equipment, including building mechanical systems and laboratory equipment.
• Follow lockout/tagout, startup/shutdown, PPE, and other safety procedures; support plant housekeeping and operational reliability.
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of combined technical training and industrial maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical skills in pumps, mixers, and machinery repair.
• Ability to obtain a Boiler Operator License.
• Must be authorized to work in the country of employment (USA).
