Manager, Strategy & Operations – ED Sub Team Planner (Pharmaceutical Development)

What you will do

• Partner with the Early Development Sub Team Lead and functional representatives to structure and maintain integrated operational roadmaps aligned with asset strategy.
• Translate scientific objectives and development activities into actionable plans, milestones, dependencies, timelines, and responsibilities in OnePlan.
• Monitor execution, critical paths, deliverables, decision points, risks, deviations, resource constraints, and dependencies.
• Coordinate alignment between Early Development, Strategy & Operations, Asset Operations, and Heads of Function.
• Support scenario planning, contingency actions, resource forecasting, and risk mitigation.
• Prepare performance metrics and status reporting while improving planning processes, data quality, and tool adoption.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with understanding of drug development, clinical development, and project management.
• Strong knowledge of planning tools, planning methodologies, cross-functional coordination, integrated development plans, and milestone-driven environments.
• Experience working with cross-functional R&D teams, including clinical, preclinical, and regulatory functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in science.
• English required; French is preferred.
• Strong communication, prioritization, attention to detail, data accuracy, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Project management certification, MBA, or PhD.
• Experience with planning and scheduling methodologies, data visualization, reporting tools, or digital transformation initiatives.
