TL;DR

Associate Counsel (Corporate Legal Affairs): Providing legal support for software and technology licensing, professional services, and NDAs across hirify.global with an accent on corporate operations, IT, and HR functions. Focus on managing center of excellence efforts, drafting complex agreements, and advising stakeholders on legal risks and business-oriented solutions.

Location: Must be based in New York, NY (Hybrid: 4 days per week in-office required).

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 (yearly).

What you will do

  • Draft, review, and negotiate software and technology licenses, professional services agreements, and NDAs.
  • Manage center of excellence efforts by developing templates, negotiation guides, and legal processes.
  • Advise business stakeholders and Law Department colleagues on legal matters related to technology and corporate initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Privacy and Information Security teams to ensure compliance with data protection laws.
  • Provide practical legal advice and business-oriented solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Partner with business executives to implement best practices and align legal processes with business needs.

Requirements

  • Must be admitted to the New York State Bar or eligible to register as in-house counsel in New York.
  • JD or LLM degree from an accredited law school.
  • 1+ years of relevant legal experience.
  • Thorough understanding of and demonstrated proficiency with technology agreements.
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends if needed.
  • Must be able to work from the New York, NY office at least four days per week.
