A space and data analytics company building a thermal infrared imagery constellation to provide high-resolution insights for governments and agribusinesses.

What you will do

• Manage corporate governance and entity lifecycles across the US, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.
• Build and maintain compliance programs covering export controls (ITAR/EAR), trade sanctions, and anti-corruption.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, corporate, and confidentiality agreements (NDAs, vendor, and teaming arrangements).
• Ensure data protection and privacy compliance, including GDPR, in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory developments in remote sensing, spectrum, and space-licensing requirements.
• Coordinate with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions to manage scope and costs.

Requirements

• Law degree and qualification to practice (e.g., J.D. and bar admission in the US or Master en Droit in the EU).
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience in-house or at a reputable law firm, focused on corporate and compliance matters.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to federal government contract requirements.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by ITAR (22 C.F.R. § 120.62).
• Strong contract management, drafting, and editing skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1).

Nice to have

• Experience with export controls (ITAR/EAR, EU dual-use) and trade compliance.
• Knowledge of Luxembourg corporate and employment law.
• Exposure to space, satellite, geospatial, defense, or deep-tech sectors.
• Working proficiency in French, German, or Luxembourgish.
