What you will do

• Own and manage a high-volume, high-value contract pipeline of 40–100 concurrent agreements.
• Lead the drafting and negotiation of MSAs, SOWs, and renewals while ensuring commercial and financial alignment.
• Establish governance frameworks for contract approvals, risk escalation, and standard deviations.
• Drive the transformation of the contracts function by implementing AI-assisted drafting and automated risk flagging.
• Own and advance Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms and standardized modular templates.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and operational execution.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in contracts management, legal operations, or commercial negotiations.
• Must be authorized to work in the US or Canada without employer sponsorship.
• Proven experience managing large, complex, multi-year contracts in utilities or government sectors.
• Strong leadership background in managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-enabled contracting tools or CLM platforms.
• Background in energy efficiency, clean energy, or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or enterprise opportunity tracking systems.
