Location: Must be based in or able to commute to the South Charlotte, NC office (hybrid: Tuesday-Thursday onsite). This role is not open to visa sponsorship.

Compensation: $155,000–$220,000 + Potential Equity

What you will do

• Own the ontology, retrieval, and entity-resolution layer to ensure AI agents operate with accurate business context.
• Architect reliable data ingestion pipelines, connectors, and data contracts ensuring compliance with SOC2, PII, and GLBA standards.
• Implement a data flywheel by using agent corrections and human overrides to demonstrably improve retrieval performance.
• Collaborate with the Red Platform engineering team to integrate data and contract surfaces.
• Mentor junior AI Product Managers and lead high-visibility strategic initiatives for senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a data-product or ML-product PM with a track record of shipping RAG, search, or knowledge-graph products at scale.
• Fluent in ontology design and retrieval evaluation metrics such as precision, recall, and MRR.
• Deep understanding of data ingestion, schemas, lineage, and data quality management.
• Strong governance literacy regarding HITL gating, identity propagation, and partner-data isolation.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule in the South Charlotte, NC office.

Nice to have

• Background in semantic search, knowledge graphs, or vector databases.
• Experience building labeled-data feedback flywheels.
• Domain expertise in financial services data handling (PII, GLBA).
• Prior experience as a software engineer, data scientist, or data engineer.
