Location: Must be based in or able to work from the office in St. John’s or Toronto (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

What you will do

• Support and implement vendor and customer API integrations to ensure production stability.
• Investigate and resolve complex production API issues through deep debugging.
• Develop monitoring, alerts, and dashboards to proactively identify system issues.
• Deliver bug fixes and operational enhancements to improve API usability and stability.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal engineering teams to facilitate API adoption.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar software development role.
• Strong problem-solving skills with proficiency in object-oriented programming (Java or C#).
• Experience building and supporting REST APIs in cloud environments like AWS.
• Strong communication skills for working in cross-functional, collaborative teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with test-driven development and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Familiarity with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• Background in fintech, payments, or regulated industries.
